Fair Fees

How do we charge

Integrity and honesty are key when it comes to building an ongoing relationship with clients, especially when it comes to fees.

Our Fair Fees Approach

We feel it’s important to be comfortable with all fees to develop long-standing client relationships; you need to feel you’re getting value for money, and we need to feel our resources are covered.  We find a long-term client relationship allows us to use initial and ongoing fees fairly, making the process much easier than a short term one; recovering costs in a short space of time is often unrealistic.

We tailor our fees according to each client and their needs, ranging in price dependent on the services you require. We are always willing to discuss every fee, accommodating almost all fair requests. You can pay a percentage of the assigned assets; the percentage charge tailored according to the allocated assets and needs. We also offer the options of fixed rate fees, or fixed upfront fees, billed directly or can be paid for via existing investments or pensions.

Our newest service is that of an ‘Overview Facility’. We will meet annually, but in the meantime the team will be available for queries throughout the year via phone or email on a range of subjects. We can help with issues from tax queries and views on markets, to levels of risks, and even finding the best bank account.

With this service, we do not place any investments or manage any money, or take any responsibility to do so, and the minimum charge would be £250 a month.

Ongoing Fees

On a percentage of funds under management basis, we charge between 0.5% to 1%pa, dependent on the amounts involved and the scope of the service required. The table below provides an example of what our fees may typically be.

Initial Fees

These occur for new clients dependent on their requirements and can range from £1500 to £2500.  These are normally waived however for larger investments.

Other Fees

Some investment products do not allow for ongoing fees. With this in mind, we make adjustments to our normal structure by either increasing the initial fee, or by taking a higher ongoing fee on other investments. This would ensure we maintain a fair average fee across all the investments.

We believe our fees to be fair and competitively priced, and we always accept payment of them in a way that is practical for you.

What we want to ensure, most importantly, is that whatever the cost, you receive a great service which delivers good value for your money. Hopefully, the information above will help you to decide whether we are a good fit for you.
